SLUGGISH RESPONSE AND GARBLED DISPLAYS ON SOME OF THE DIAL IN LINES.
We are as frustrated as you are about our dial-in problems.
The problem is caused by old modems and we are in the process of replacing
them, as funds become available. Several people are working on short-
and long-term solutions and we hope to have it solved soon. Keep
trying. Sometimes you can get in after a few minutes wait and things will

New SIG: The Kid's Room (9/27)
The ACC dial string has 8 T1s down which is presently reducing it to 34
dial lines. The problem has been isolated to a DS3 failure withing Nynex.
ACC is currently working with NYNEX on the problem and hopes to have a
