The Gardens of Johnson Park Treasures can be found within the landscapes of Johnson Park as well. Backyard hideaways contain dogwood, water gardens, heirloom roses, day lilies, and many other types of blooms. Many of the Johnson Park residents open up their backyards to the strolling public during Buffalo's Annual Garden Walk held in July. Although the Common Green is maintained by the City of Buffalo, local residents plant a circular flower bed on the Green each spring. |
